Years ago, in a little town, a mayor took the time to write to Benjamin Franklin and asked him for a donation to help with the cost of a bell for the town square. Benjamin Franklin did send money but he attached a note simply suggesting they forget about the bell and instead buy books for the town library. It is at the library you could find answers as to why some people succeed and why some fail miserably, no matter at what.Why Most Home Business Fail? It is because home business owners don't want to take the time to get the knowledge they need to succeed and many of those who do have the knowledge just are flat out too lazy to put in place the knowledge they already have. The knowledge that could make them a fortune, give them the freedom they have been looking for. In order words, why most home business fail is because most people are just sluggish; they are as committed to win a race as a turtle is and without a doubt, they don't take anytime to improve themselves. That is why most home business fail. For each skilled I acquired over my 15 years in business, I was extremely bad at first. Going back as far as when I first learned how to swim or ride a bicycle or as recently as a few years ago when I became an internet marketer. There was a learning curve, some bigger than others but with some work, eventually became better than most. As my good friend Andrew said to me, if there is no discomfort, "there can not be any growth".For every job, management position, owner status I have had in my life, I always spent a lot of time, hours and hours studying, doing research, reading books, watching videos whatever I had to do to learn what I needed to know so I could become an expert at what I was doing. I was never afraid to ask for help, opinions and suggestions. I was humble. When people ask me why my home business did not fail, why my brick and mortar business did not fail, I always give them this answer but often and almost every time, they reject it and think there is some secret formula to why most home business did not fail. The same answer can be given to any line of work or business. I am sure you heard the expression; "you get what you put in".If I had a nickel for every time I heard this response to my answer I would be a so rich today. "I just don't have the time you have to do all that studying, researching". Now, that may be true but when I choose to read during my break at work, what are you doing? What about when I sit outside and study, are you watching TV? When someone says they don't have time, it is a decision they have made. Everyone has time in life. I am 43 years old, I am married, have 2 kids, exercise 3-4 times a week and before I became full time entrepreneur from home, I had a job too and worked 50 hours a week just like you. The difference, I made the decision to make time for all of it. Business and success depends on your ability to make the decision to acquire the skill you need to succeed and then put it in place. Knowledge has some power but applied knowledge is the real power in life. You just can't wing it. To avoid being part of the people who ask why their home business fail, time, effort and dedication to you are a must if you want your home business to succeed. The entrepreneur who sets his or her mind to become an expert in its field, that won't let anything stand between them and their success in business, will be standing tall in the end, very tall.Remember what my friend Andrew said.
