SUBSCRIBE PLEASE!!!VISIT MY COMPANION PAGE ON FACEBOOK AT WWW.FACEBOOK.COM/LOWCARBCORYFOLLOW ME ON TWITTER @LOWCARBCORYYo, what's happenin', people? This is Low Carb Cory. I'm a health/wellness/fitness coach from Central Wisconsin. I love to watch basketball and football (go Packers!), play basketball, swim and hit the beach in the summer, weight-train 3 to 4 days a week and write, produce and record my own music. I am on a mission to get RIPPED - to get my bodyfat down to about 8% and get that lean, Hollywood'ish, leading man look that makes women go crazy and makes other men seethe with envy.I started weight-training heavily in March of 2009 at what I now consider to have been quite a fat (20-24% bodyfat) 170 lbs. I had been taking the conventional advice that the health and fitness community gave me (eat 6 small meals a day, get multiple servings of grains, eat fruit, do cardio at the gym and work out 5-6 days a week) and you know what happened? I GOT FATTER. My ego wanted me to believe that I was putting on muscle, but I got a wake-up call when, after growing to 197 lbs (and although being stronger than ever), my belt, which I'd always comfortably worn on the second loop, started getting snug and chafing me on the FIRST LOOP. I was overweight, burned out, sore and tired as a dog. I decided right then and there that I was going to do something about this.I went online and spent countless hours researching and reading opinions, advice columns, weight/fat loss forums and medical research papers...and you know what I found out my problem was? I was eating too many damn carbohydrates, drinking too many damn caffeine and working myself too damn hard. So what turned out to be something I thought was a waste-of-time "fad diet", LOW CARB EATING, actually turned out to be the answer to all of my problems. Dr. Robert Atkins was on to something.Between the end of September, 2011 and the end of November, 2011, I lost 31 lbs, all the way down to my high school weight (165 lbs), using a combination of an Atkins-Diet-style "induction phase" (20g of net carbs a day, no more) and a 6-day water fast (drank nothing but water for 6 days, no food), followed by an Atkins-Diet-style maintenance eating plan that contained less than 40g of net carbs and intermittent fasting (only eating during a 2-4 hour window on any given day, usually after work, between 6:30 and 10:30 PM).I have had so much success with my fat loss weight management that I have decided to share my wisdom, knowledge and experience with you! I love to research and learn new things in my spare time constantly, so I will be giving you great information on healthy eating, fitness, general wellness, supplements, workout tips and a number of other topics as often as possible! I want you guys to be the best you can be, because we all wish we could make the world a better place, and I truly believe that I have the power to do that by helping you get more fit, healthier and in the best shape of your life. I can't wait to help you reach your fitness, wellness and health goals!Get EDUCATED, get INSPIRED and get GOING.Low Carb Cory

Feb 6, 2012 - What's up bro I am a mma fighter and I have been on a Ckd for three weeks now and I have lost some fat but when I do my carb up my fucking weight go's right back up kinda of sucks so is this shit working or not I will lose about 8 pounds before my carb up when will that shit stay off and should I just say fuck the carb up?

lowcarbcory Says:

Feb 8, 2012 - That's what it's good for. I've been eating it all day since I'm on a cut now with under 13g net carbs/day for 9 days (I'm on day 2 now).

lowcarbcory Says:

Feb 8, 2012 - You make it sound like you can't restrict calories and eat fat at the same time. I'm not sure I understand your point?

lowcarbcory Says:

Feb 8, 2012 - My take is that everybody has a different tolerance to carbs. I recommend everybody go super low carb at least once in their adult life, and then start bumping up the carbs to find their "magic number" (the # of grams of carbs that they can eat w/o putting on fat), based around their exercise schedule/regimen. Everyone's eating should be tailored around their activity levels.

lowcarbcory Says:

Feb 8, 2012 - Gaining water weight when you carb up is inevitable. It's nothing to worry about at all. 8 lbs is a little much to gain after a single carb up. Are we talking overnight gain, or you gain the weight and then it stays around? If you don't lose some of it (like 90% of it) when you go low carb again, you're either eating too many carbs when you carb up or you're storing fat. You need to really pay attention to your body composition and if your belt is getting tighter.

lowcarbcory Says:

Feb 8, 2012 - Bottom line: Don't be concerned about the weight as much as how your body looks, how you feel, and how your clothes fit. Lean mass can be anything from bone to muscle to water to undigested food/waste. I lost 1 lb one morning last week just from taking a shit! I kid you not.

lowcarbcory Says:

Feb 8, 2012 - Just be aware that the effects of caffeine can become null after as little as two weeks of using it...then you become like a crackhead who needs more crack to get the same high he used to get.

maliaX3girl Says:

Feb 27, 2012 - Do u recommend low carb for a teen girl? Lol who doesn't lift weights?:l but I do walk & Zumba but that's pretty much it ;D

lowcarbcory Says:

Feb 29, 2012 - Definitely. I recommend it for everyone. But I also recommend you start lifting weights. It'll make you look hot! Trust me. You want that. Not that you're not beautiful already - but muscle looks hot on women, I believe. Think of Jessica Biel, the actress. She looks amazing.

Mar 26, 2012 - 6-8 weeks on a pre and at least 4 weeks off. Try I-Force Hemavol and Driven Sports Craze. Do it!

Italianslugger Says:

Mar 26, 2012 - Try fitting half a bagel and peanut butter into your macros as your pre-workout meal.

lowcarbcory Says:

Apr 1, 2012 - Can't do bagels anymore. I found out I'm gluten intolerant. And I work out on an empty stomach. Your body's priority is not to digest bagels and peanut butter while you're working out, so pre-workout is actually a terrible time to eat shit like that, unless you're talkng 2-3 hrs pre-workout. I get up at 6 AM and am at the gym by 7:15. I will stick to fasted workouts. I don't like to puke when I'm working out. lol

Italianslugger Says:

Apr 1, 2012 - Well the bagel gets digest very quickly. That's the whole point of it. It gives you a great pump. I can eat mine 30-60 minutes before a workout and I'm fine. I've actually been building muscle even though I'm on a cut diet and I'm 31. But like you said, since you're gluten intolerant so no bagel for you. And if fasted morning workouts is working for you then great. Keep it moving.

lowcarbcory Says:

Apr 1, 2012 - I'd probably shit my shorts while doing bent over rows if I ate a bagel and worked out half an hour later. lol

PaulthePhil Says:

Apr 1, 2012 - I've just come off of a really low carb phase (~2 months) to lean up before I do a lean bulk and to be honest I found that my strength wasn't much of an issue. The main problem was just recovery time, but aside from that it was all good. Now I'm currently doing a low carb (140g/day) lean bulk and switching from 5x5 to 5x8-12. So far I'm feeling good, looking relatively lean and not feeling hungry at all.Keep up the good work man!

lowcarbcory Says:

Apr 1, 2012 - I've found that being super low carb does effect recovery time, too. I eat more carbs when I work out than when I don't for that reason now. Usually more almonds/nuts. Your workouts and diet sound on-point!

Italianslugger Says:

Apr 1, 2012 - haha too funny. I've heard stories about incidents of that nature. But no first hand experience or personal experience with that type of situation.

piarit Says:

May 11, 2012 - You have no muscles and 200 videos about fitness. Why the fuck people is watching you?! :|

lowcarbcory Says:

May 15, 2012 - Because I'm getting results. Check the video updates, bitch! I'M BREAKING ALL KINDS OF PLATEAUS OVER HERE, THE LIKES OF WHICH YOU HAVE NEVER SEEN!

lowcarbcory Says:

May 15, 2012 - He's a troll. A fat, little troll who finds time between his World of Warcraft marathons and his mom making him Peanut Butter & Jelly sandwiches (which he eats with a big glass of chocolate YooHoo) to talk shit to people are more successful than him. In other words, he's going to be the CEO of a Fortune 500 company very soon - I'm sure of it! lmao

momofautism52005 Says:

May 15, 2012 - Thanks for making me laugh LOL.
