Bank kicks disabled mom and disabled son out on streets!I'm a disabled mom with a disabled son whose home is being foreclosed with a date of sale of March 1, 2012.I'm a 74 year old widow disabled with COPD requiring the use of oxygen 24/7. My 49 year old disabled son suffers from muscular dystrophy. He's part wheelchair bound and part bed bound. I'm on a fixed income whose retirement fund fell in the last stock market crash. I lost everything making it difficult to pay my mortgage. Fighting for 2 years to have my loan modification approved met with no success. I've lived here for 37 years and made special modifications (approx. $150,000 worth) necessary for my son to live a "normal" life. I've installed an elevator, special work stations and a tracking system without which he could no longer get out of bed, shower, etc. without assistance. His muscle coordination is depleted and needs 24 hour care. Hospice has a new program for incurable diseases who is now helping with his medical needs. His disease is progressive as is mine.We need help. The bank will throw us out on March 1, 2012 and we have no place to go but the street. Our friends and relatives have been assisting us with what little they have, but it's not enough to save our home. Counsel has suggested my son go to a state home and I live elsewhere! Absolutely not! My heart would break and I would probably die shortly thereafter. My son feels the same.We pray for a miracle. Please make a miracle happen.
