HumiCare® 200 is an innovative system for the more effective heating and humidification of medical gases for the purposes of invasive ventilation,non-invasive ventilation & inhalation therapy. Our new technique is superior to state-of-the-art humidifiers in many respects. In contrast to conventional systems its humidification performance is nearly constant and widely independent of gas flow. There is no need to heat the humidification chamber above body temperature.The humidification system is very versatile. It may be used in numerous applications and in combination with various ventilators. The three components of the HumiCare® 200 system are the H200 (humidifier), the C200M (detachable humidification chamber) and the T200M (respiratory tubing).As in the human nasopharynx, gas humidification and heating result from close contact to a very large humid surface, heated to body temperature at maximum, allowing for highly effective humidification even at the very high or inconstant gasflow common in the mentioned applications.
